Ballet Felixstowe Silver Swans by the Sea

We invite you to join our Silver Swans classes, specifically designed for older adults. These classes accommodate all levels of experience, from seasoned dancers to complete beginners. The sessions aim to improve mobility, enhance posture, refine coordination, and boost overall vitality. All classes are taught by Debra Bradnum, a licensed Silver Swans instructor and Royal Academy of Dance teacher. Debra was trained at The Royal Ballet School and has danced with The Royal Ballet, London Festival Ballet & The National Ballet of Portugal. She has taught at Sylvia Young Theatre School, London Studio Centre & her own school based in London, Ballet Train.

Classes

Thursdays 5.30 - 6.30pm

Fridays 11.15 -12.15pm

Fridays 12.30 - 1.30pm

At the newly established Elevate Studio, located above Beach Street. This state-of-the-art facility features bespoke barre and mirror installations and is equipped with both heating and air conditioning systems. The glass frontage of the studio opens onto an expansive balcony, providing seating for post-class coffee and social gatherings, all whilst offering a delightful view of the sea. 

Summer Dates

Friday 11.15am classes will run throughout July & the first two weeks of August. After a two week break all classes restart on the first week of September. If you are think of coming along during the summer, please message me. To check your class is running.

Class payments

Sessions are priced at £12 per class for those opting for a pay-as-you-go option. For those interested in prepayment, we offer a package of five classes for £55 or ten classes for £100. Payments may be made in cash or via bank transfer. 

What to wear

It is advisable to wear attire that allows for comfort and ease of movement. A suitable choice is a T-shirt paired with leggings or similar flexible clothing. Footwear, options are ballet shoes, soft trainers, jazz shoes, or socks.
